Guide To Viewings

Did you know you can book viewings online via the websold.co.uk website prior to the bidding of the property?

It’s highly unlikely that you would purchase a car without taking it for a test drive. Nor would you bid on a property in one of our auctions without viewing it first. Someone’s idea of minor refurbishment works could be someone else’s idea of a full scheme of improvement.

As a buyer, you need to do your due diligence and be in possession of all the facts prior to placing your bet online so we’ve made that process even easier.

Viewings for Room Auctions

Firstly, find the property you’re interested in on our website. You can view all the Lots for our auctions by clicking on the ‘auctions’ button at the top of all the pages. On the property page, you’ll see a ‘lot information’ box on the right-hand side. This contains links to things like the auction catalog, lot’s legal pack, online bidding facilities, and the viewing details.

Click on the ‘book viewing’ link in the ‘lot information’ section, or using the larger button under the phone number, and you will be given a number of date and time options when we have pre-arranged group viewings on that property.

Simply select the date and time you wish to attend, fill in your contact details and press submit. By giving us your contact details we can advise you if there are any changes to the times or if our viewer is running late.

For our online auctions, we operate a full viewing schedule and so if you click on the ‘book viewing’ button you can find the date and time you’re interested in and simply turn up on the day to view.

If we are still liaising with the vendors to book in viewing times, a ‘request viewing’ button will appear and by clicking on this you can register your details with us and we will contact you when the viewing dates have been confirmed.

Online Auctions

In case of a property from our online auctions that you’re interested in viewing then you can ring our team of dedicated auction experts on 02035000999, who will book a viewing at a time to suit you and your diary.

No Viewings

There are always exceptions to the rule and in a small number of cases we can’t always book viewings. Sometimes if there are tenants in place or if the property is structurally unsafe we cannot offer viewings prior to the property being offered for sale.

In case of any building plots or development land, these can be viewed directly on-site at your convenience.

On Your Viewing

Our viewers will only remain at each property for 15 minutes so please arrive promptly. You don’t need to bring anything with you to view the property. However, you’re welcome to take your own photographs of the property and measurements should you require them (pre-approval must be obtained from our office for the same).

While viewing you may identify potential problems such as the structure of the property, damp issues or even suspect Japanese knotweed. If this is the case, we would recommend you attending a second viewing with a surveyor to inspect the property. You can view the property as many times as you wish.

What next?

If you’ve viewed the property and you’re interested in bidding then download and read the legal pack to complete your due diligence. After that, you simply need to bid on the property online and provide your IDs, register for a bidding paddle and bid for the best possible price.

Please remember to stick to your budget when bidding. But most importantly, enjoy the online auction services and unique experience –
Good Luck!
